But for me, my most significant achievement in my life is my, now 11 year old daughter, Makayla. My legacy and desire are for her to look back upon my life when she is older and use me as a role model to find the type of person she wants to be with….. presuming the saying is true “You’re daughter will find someone like her father”. That is a challenge a responsibility, for which I am up for! She makes me a better person and father. I founded Luxury Meetings the first week in March 2008, at the age of 29. Having already been fortunate enough to successfully Found two other companies, as well as assisting in the startup-up of two others, within the travel and hospitality industries.... and a couple short stints within the finance industry prior to that. I am now closing out the 14th anniversary of Luxury Meetings, and I continue to marvel at all that has come from that original ideas; which are still ever growing and thriving from a “re-birth”. Every time there is a financial crisis or global pandemic, our business models proves to be the benchmark that meeting and event planners are drawn to. We create original concepts that work, thrive, and grow during times of strife…. when needed most. 14 years and growing stronger. It’s our team, our character, our personality, which makes people passionate about our companies. My companies were built on a promise to ourselves, our families, our employees, and our clients that we would live by the values on which our company was founded. My personal values continue to drive every business decision I make. These values are about the power of creativity, risk-taking, the drive to succeed, a business family, dignity, humility, integrity, and the necessity of having fun. And the culture of the companies I build are brought to life in four important, everyday operating principles; that people should be treated with respect; life should be built upon rewarding and mutually beneficial relationships; we should give and expect total candor and bone honesty; and the only work worth doing is work that can help influence history. I truly believe that a companies culture and character make people passionate about a company. Glass Always Full! That’s ME.
